[Blackbelly] bloody nose

My yearling ram was in a fight with a dog about 2
weeks ago. I called the vet to see what I can do for
him as he has a hock that has been swollen a little
and he has been stiff on the back end for the last few
days. He told me to give him 1 cc banamine for 3 days
to help. I gave him one tonight and about 30 min later
when I went to feed I found him bleeding from one side
of his nose. He is in with a ewe w/a lamb, a yearling
ewe and 2 wethers. I have never had anything like
this happen. It has been in the high 90's today and he
has been eating, drinking, etc just a bit sore from
the attack.
Has anyone had an experience like this before. I am
at a loss and so is the vet. He offered to do blood
work to check his platlets but I am not putting out an
emergency fee, blood work, etc that would run about
300.00. With economy I can not do it but this is a
really nice young ram and would like to see if I can
help him out.
Thanks.
