I get Baytril in ElReno at Eischen's vetconsulting service. You should
be able to get it from the vet. The small animal size is expensive, but
it is really good when youdo not know just what you are dealing with. I
use antibiotics as a last resort, but if I need them, I use penn and
baytril if I can't really diagnose the problem. There was some rumours
about Baytril being taken off the market for meat animals, but it is
still used in hogs, so there is really no problem.
Since this guy has had so much stress I would give him a dose of Panacur
wormer for good measure. It is easy on the gut and worms really take
over during stress. I found that out by accident when one had
pneumonia. When I have one that is acting sick, the first thing is
panacur oral..
Good luck.
