I feed from a trough and fill it by hand and if your sheep are like mine, they 
are all worried they are not going to get their fair share.  the ones that 
really scarf it down have to pause sometimes and they shake their heads up and 
down real fast, trying to get the dry feed to clear their throats, the reason I 
mention this is that sometimes I do notice them drool a little when they do 
this, I don't know if there is a gag reflex thing going on or what but they go 
right back to eating.
