I'm sorry to hear about your lamb.  That sounds like a severe allergic 
reaction(anaphylaxis) to me... treatment would probably involve an Epi pen 
and benadryl, but might not have been effective anyway.  Is it warm enough 
there for bees, wasps, etc. to be out and about?
