Sorry I haven't had much time for posting lately. Sheep crop is doing great 
with all the rain we've had here in Texas. About to start weaning lambs 
soon.  The two bottle babies are fat and sassy on green pasture grass and 
one feeding now per day for the past 4-5 days.  No major bawling attacks.

My 3-week-old bottle lamb is refusing the bottle. She is hungry and 
searches
for the bottle but when I put it down for her she refuses it. She started
this Thursday evening. She usually eats great. Now I have to pry her mouth
open to get the nipple in. Once I have done that she starts sucking. She
doesn't drink it all at once. I have to go through this several times to 
get
just 2 ounces down her. She usually drinks 4, no problem. My husband said
that while I was out tonight that she didn't play as much with the dog as
she usually does. Her stools are looser than the normal baby stool. To
describe it I would say it looks mucousy. I did not change anything she 
just
started doing this last night halfway through a bottle. Has anyone had this
happen and what do I do about it?
