We had a similar problem with our last bottle ram - he
wouldn't take a nipple until we pried at the corner of
his mouth - once he tasted the milk he'd start sucking
away; but sometimes it would take several instances to
get him to take as much as he should. By about a month
and half we';d still have to pry usually to get his
mouth open but he'd suck the bottle dry - VERY
enthusiastically also! He's 4 months old now and has a
VERY good appetite also. Each lil lamb seems to have
their own little personality quirks, and I'm sure
others on this list have helps also. Alan
