If you can still get the band between the testicle and the belly without stretching the belly skin, it will work. If not you will have to use the knife method. As he grows, and the scrotum falls off, the wound will be stretched if there is not enough scrotal skin present. This will leave a large wound which you are trying to avoid by using the band.
