In my experience, IVOMEC has done the best job for the least cost of any wormer I have tried. I use orally it to worm the dogs and to prevent heartworms also. When a couple of drops are mixed with mineral oil it works great for ear mites on the cats. It prevents ticks on the dogs when used properly. It can cause some allergic reactions in collies, so it is used with caution on border collies. As a note, I mix permethrin with mineral oil 1 oz per qt and put a "line" down the backs of the sheep and the dogs for flies, fleas, and ticks. It works as good as the $125/ gallon stuff. If I could get the Insect growth regulator again, I would use it also...
