Once the pecking order is established there is seldom a problem. We run 7 rams in as many lots and the only problem is when the alpha ram is moved. In another few weeks, we will separate the rams from the ewes in order to stop Jan/Feb lambing and re-introduce the rams in late September. They remember who is who every year. Now when we are ready to move them all together, we put them in a tiny pen about 4 by 8 for the first few hours so that they are so tight they can't really hit anyone. Then they re-establish who is who and they can be let go. This works for us.
