And even my own comments on the list....smartened me up a bit! I've got
four right now, the head honcho and three lambs. I realized I've
probably been letting them breathe a little too much of my own personal
air! So I grabbed a flimsy broom at feeding time this morning, and
before I put the feed in the pans I cleared the decks with that broom!
:o) But you know, I was surprised to see how much more bluster it took
to scatter them than I expected! I made a big issue of the food being
MINE before letting them in (much like the the big guy makes a point of
pushing all the youngsters out of their pans, though there is one for
each of them), but the writing is on the wall.
This was a valuable thread. I know it has shaken me out of my false
sense of security. Gonna have a bit different relationship with the
boys from now on!
