Londa,
I read the articles about using vinegar on down livestock. Since you have
taken the shotgun route for helping the ewe this can't hurt.
The article said to dilute cider vinegar by 1/2 with water and drench 2 x a
day with 20cc of mixture. Something about the rumen and the acidity.
A lot of times pregant sheep and goats have real problems at the end of
pregnancy.
Because of the size of the fetus the rumen is compromised by the pressure.
Then there are the stomach worms that always seem to get very active about
this time. Therefore the propylene glycol.
Since you have nothing to lose, but money, by trying many different things
here goes.
Give her the vinegar 2x day. Worm her with Panacur paste (or safeguard
paste) for horses at the rate of 2cc/10lbs for 3 days in a row.
I do hope she recovers. And about 2 weeks before lambing put out a
goat/sheep molasses tub. No grain but hay with the tub. This should help
eliminate toxemia.

Rhonda
