Hello Dear Member / Visitor, WELCOME to BlinDIA!
As you can see, this is the 1st Official BlinDIA ML postage. This project was born due to the need for a new/alternative d-i (Debian GNU/LINUX Installer), since people reported us that the official Sarge D-I wasn't "blindfriendly enough". But the project aims to become a large international *independent* development and contribution platform (/working group) for any d-i (Distributions Installer) initiative; that's why we choosed such a generic name: "BlinDIA". At this point we have released a first d-i (Debian-Installer), called "GRML-Inst_Plain_Deb". You may find it here: http://brlspeak.net/blinux/grml-inst_plain_deb-0.1.99.tgz (that package also contains the first -zero- release version). Please, feel free to give it a try! You also need a copy of GRML (a reparation & texttool-oriented "Live-on-CD" distribution): http://grml.org/ (the current BlinDIA installer is tested under GRML since it doesn't work well under Knoppix ( http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/ )). Feel free to test, and to join us! http://lists.ael.be/mailman/listinfo/blindia Osvaldo La Rosa - 11-05-2006 -- ==Osvaldo La Rosa==-==http://www.brlspeak.net/==-==GNU/Linux? 2B FREE== No individual should be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation (American Disability Act - 42.
