[BlinDIA] feedback - installation of blindia:~ with grml d-i v. 0.2.0.sh

Aldo

This is the feedback of installation with grml-inst_plain_deb-0.2.0.sh
as downloaded here:
 http://brlspeak.net/blinux/grml-inst_plain_deb-0.2.0.sh

I did chmod +x, then I runned dhclient since this is a problem on many
live cds...

layout of installer-script is OK for me;

(there are some info who can't be read due to the fluent speed, but it's OK.)

I puted grub on my fd0 and the installer was able to do it right,
(I'm editing this feedback log file from withing my blindia system)

also after installation we seem to have immediately internet connection due
to the dhclient who is active while it isn't under grml-cd.

I also was able to turn grml into blindia as hostname during installation.

I was able to choose timezone, apt setup for belnet and configuring exim
etc, after he started base-config.

Unfortunately, with base-config installation + conf take now much more
than ten minutes ...

I failed to reconfig the locales but that's why I pressed enter instead of
selecting with a space some locale.

The installer falled back to the standard "C" locale as long as no one is
configured.

I failed to escape from the base-config since it loops and loops again;
but this seem not to be a big problem:
I just opened a new console to reboot the system, and it does boot okay.

Also I was able to log into my new blindia system as root or user with their
pass as I entered during the base-config.

This is my typescript as example of log:

# This file should contain the names of kernel modules that are
# to be loaded at boot time, one per line. Comments begin with
# a "#", and everything on the line after them are ignored.

(here can be placed some modules we force the system to load:
pcspkr will be a good idea since we hear then our brltty starting)

blindia:~# cat /etc/environment
LANG=en_US.iso885915

(this is very wrong: it doesn't correspond to a correct lang definition)

blindia:~# cat /etc/locale.gen

(also the next is wrong too: it doesn't correspond to any correct locale
because the file or symlink simply doesn't exist)

cat: /etc/locale.gen: No such file or directory

blindia:~# cat /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

(this is OK)

blindia:~# echo $brltty

(this doesn't give any answer here, while it answers with
al,ttyS0,de.tbl  when I did so under grml-cd)

blindia:~# dpkg -l

(attention, here the list of installed packages by the installer + after
it runned automatically base-config)

(yes, during the base-config I was able to change the default grml hostname
into blindia, and after rebooting it does work well as you see)

must be /home/aldo for example)

(well, it seems to install a testing, not a stable; but no matter if it
does work perfectly)
