GRML-inst_plain_deb 0.2.1 test-feedback 25-05-2006 by Osvaldo:

I installed on: hdb 10 (root) and 9 (home).

I also configured exim4 and sended a copy of this feedback to one of my
accounts,
from within blindia's exim.

Well well guys! it works pretty fine!

* locales are now installed and it is asked to config it
* brltty does not use the entered params at grml-cd, so debconf goes open
and you can config it then (for me just a few seconds)
* grub install question is not in the beginning of script, but after it
retrieves the base pkgs; but it works and when choosing for fd0 you
immediately hear the flopdrive running, so it's OK!
* base-config now works well, and exit correctly
* so, quiting base-config and asking for rebooting is now correct!
* rebooting from fd is still correct: braille is provided, correct hostname,
correct login as root or as user, azerty as I prefer, correct dhcp iface and
resolv.conf file
* my host name is blindia as I specified myself during base-config
* it seems that fstab is correct, except for the usbfs line
who was proposed during debconf but isn''t added automatically to fstab,
while you can see by typing mount that usb devices should be mounted if that
missing line was in fstab (maybe we provide it, as we did for some modules)
* there is still a little problem related to the locales: the message about
falling back to "C" is persistent during the installation process while it
isn't so because after rebooting the PC the locales are installed/configured
as expected: cf. locale.gen shot below...
* sources.list seem to be okay now, and pointing to stable, as expected

Read here all details (zap to next blindia:~# if you'd like to overview
