Yes the device is created dynamically.

Samuel's mini.iso is also a pure debian-installer.
The only difference, is the version.
We use the Sarge DI and Samuel's on is in Etch version.
All packages, including brltty are parts of the debian-installer.

It will be the third alternative. The Blindia-live-cd. Be online in the
following weeks !

Just for recall, for the moment our primary goal is to provide several
ways to install a Debian Sarge Distribution ( It's the one we use ). We
have now :

The first one, launching the grml script within a live cd ( grml or
knoppix ).
The second one, using the official debian installer modified for a
braille reader.
The third ( to come ), a blindia live-cd with the script and the
packages includes.

After ? no limits if it can help some one ! 
Maybe seeking also other distributions ? But help needed !
