--- Begin Message ---Dear Hon. County Commissioners and City Council members: What on earth is going on with Boulder elections? Do any of you care about them? I would have thought so. Today the Boulder County Clerk is going to ask for mail ballot elections for this fall's election. Shame on them and shame on you if you allow this to happen to the city's election. In 2002, Boulder County residents OVERWHELMINGLY rejected mail ballots by a margin of 39.6% for and 60.4% AGAINST MAIL BALLOT elections. We have let them slip before but not again. Don't you care what the people want? Whether it's council elections, land use or a transportation mill levy, Boulder residents do not want to be forced to vote by mail. Either you stand up now, today, or I hope that you will step down from misrepresenting the people of Boulder in time that we can elect effective this fall who understand their responsibility to serve the people of Boulder. With all due respect, Myriah Conroy
