Hello Britdisc, UU, JU & UKUW Lookfly and the GB Juniors and potential Juniors for 2006 would like to thank all those who have pre-ordered the Lookfly 2006 Calendar. All proceeds from the sales of the desk and wall calendar will go to aid in the Junior effort to attend next years World Junior Championships in Boston. We've been flooded with more questions about the calendars than with people actually purchasing it, so we thought we'd take the time now to answer all of them in one go. 1. Am I in the calendar? Likelyhood of being in the calendar: 24 pictures, perhaps 1000 players in the UK who played the Tours, that's about a 2% chance. Factor in how often you do photogenic things on pitch. Chances are low. If you like those odds buy the calendar. If you don't, buy it anyways because it's for a good cause. 2. Are the pictures good? Yes. Amazing even. We had a great response to our request for contributions. They are a good representation of Open, Mixed and Womens tours and even Beach. All very excited stuff. 3. Are the pictures the same in both calendars? Good question! Yes. Same calendar, different format is all. 4. Why should I get the calendar? a. With all the effort people put in like Kevin Lowe, Catherine Moore, Gemma, LD, Voodoo, Sally, Tom and the list goes on, here's a little bit you can do to help the Juniors without even leaving the comfort of your office, bedroom, cafe etc etc. b. It's a good gift for you to give your family to show them that Ultimate Frisbee doesn't involve dogs. 5. Can I see all of the pictures for all of the months before I buy it? And ruin the surprise? It's a good calendar so just buy it. Tell you what, we'll offer a money back guarantee if you don't like it. Just let us know you're not satisfied and we'll send you the name of the Junior player you can go and get your money from. 6. What does Lookfly get out of this? Nothing. All the proceeds (not some but all) are going to this cause. 7. Why are we doing this? We can still remember being young, loving a sport that our parents couldn't really understand and wished we could just play football. Boston is far away. I know my parents wouldn't have footed the bill for me to go - so let's help them out. 8. Great points Lookfly, can I get it right now!? Uh...no. The calendars are in production.
