I'm having problems with grub booting a certain diskless terminal. It
has an Intel eexpress ISA NIC. When I start grub (from a floppy) with
the eepro driver included, I get this output on-screen :
dhcp
Probing...[EEPRO]
Error 12: Invalid device requested
Press any key to continue ...
If I run the 'eexpress' program from Donald Becker I get this output :
EtherExpress found at 0x300, station address 00 aa 00 4a 01 b3, IRQ 10
EEPROM checksum is 0xbaba, which is correct
That MAC matches the sticker on the card.
I checked the etherboot package and found that grub's eepro driver is
identical to the last two releases of etherboot. What could be the
problem here, and how might I work around it?
TIA,
-D
