Well, I'd say it's a regression, because if you change the version to 2.18.2, it looks like the attached. The dot follows the note head. (2.19.57 is an improvement as the bass clef lines up with the lower right-hand voice.) I would think that a NoteColumn would include the dot. But if there's a better way to do this, let me know.
