First, as I have been around sporadically (yes - i admit it) since the
beginning of the year just after Doc passed away, my hat goes off to
Theresa, Nate, Bill and the other regulars - you all do seem to be the
life-blood that keeps the organization moving.

A couple of notes/ideas:

1) Douglas Dillard has done a great job putting some new energy into the
adult program and I believe the plan is to have a kick-off soon. Those of
us that are helping with it will figure a better way to keep the entire
organization informed of the progress (right now most of the info is on the
wiki page, but you do have to look for it)

2) With 70 names on the group list, we have a lot of opportunity here. For
many of the people, they may not have the time to consistently volunteer on
Saturdays or Wednesdays or even show up at all depending on circumstance
changes etc, but we can still leverage the entire 70 to either continue to
get the word out for volunteers, money or anything else.

3) Regarding getting the word out in point 2... what about a frequently
published "Byteworks Beat" news bulletin. I can start this off. Keeping in
mind no one likes long emails.. we can publish 5-10 bullets points ever
other week on what's happening at byteworks, where we need the most help,
and maybe some other highlights. It can be designed as an "outreach"
communication that can easily be forwarded to another helping to get the
word out.

Any thoughts?
