OK
named-checkconf:
named-checkconf /etc/named.conf
It seems both named-checkzone and named-checkconf are working fine.

I am using bind-9.24 Nameserver for testing in RHEL 4. It was working fine.
But suddenly ,I am getting an error like "2(SERVFAIL) ". i have checked
named-checkzone
named-checkconf
/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv. conf
All are working fine.
But when i try to do
host domainname
It shows 2(SERVFAIL).
Can anyone help me out to fix thins....... ......... ..
