cfselect and selected option

Greetings all,

A quick question, can you use the selected option in a cfselect when you're 
using a bind, as in:

<!--- OfficeID is coming from another drop down select --->

<cfselect name="office" id="office"
   bind="cfc:cfcs.myCFC.getDivsionsByOffice({officeId})"
   size="1"
   value="divID"
   display="division_abbrev"
   selected="#someOtherQuery.divID#"
/>
