Dear Colleagues,

You may be aware of the resent research and projects that demonstrate the
value of big data (besides small data) in discovering trends in public
health issues. Such analyses help the Ministries of health and other
stakeholders in decision making and planning their actions. Implementation
of big data technologies requires not only technology interventions, but
also capacity building, coordination, training at multiple levels.

There are opportunities to develop big data interventions in these
countries - Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland,
Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The organizations should have
established local presence, demonstrated body of work in areas of health
and/or data science. This project will require the organization to be the
focal points in their respective countries, depute 2 resource persons, and
coordinate with their ministries of health.

We have already received confirmed EoI from organizations in these
countries:
Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

Interested organizations are requested to contact by email at atanu.garai
at gmail.com.

Best regards,
Atanu Garai
