Dear all,

I am reaching out to all tech enthusiasts to apply for our challenge to get
up to $100K funding using exponential technology to provide food in
emergencies.

The World Food Programme (WFP) has recently teamed up with Silicon
Valley's Singularity
University to identify and support moonshot ideas/start-ups that can help
us end hunger globally. Through the 'Global Impact Challenge
<https://su.org/gic/2017/wfp/>', we are offering teams funding and
accelerator support to scale. *Shortlisted finalists will be able to
receive up to $100K in funding and be able to test the solution in the
field, whilst the final winner team (2 people) will be invited to
participate in Singularity's renowned Global Solutions Program.*

*Click here to apply – it’s still running until 10 March 2017. *

We would also appreciate if you *could **share the Challenge with relevant
start-ups, NGOs, entrepreneurs and your network**. *We've provided more
information below, so please feel free to copy and paste, or simply forward
this message.

I look forward to hearing from you.

*Subject:* [ICT4D Principles] Case Study from Catholic Relief Services
(CRS) posted: Implementing the Principles for Digital Development, The
ReMiND Project: Reducing Maternal and Newborn Deaths

Dear All,

Excited to share the most recent case study from Catholic Relief Services
that illustrates how CRS and its partners have been integrating and
implementing the Principles for Digital Development in The ReMiND Project
in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, India since 2011.

A brief summary
<http://digitalprinciples.org/implementing-the-principles-for-digital-development-the-remind-project-reducing-maternal-and-newborn-deaths/>can
be found with other case studies on the PDD website.

The full case study can be found here

.

Many thanks to CRS for sharing their lessons learned and we look forward to
hearing from other endorsing organizations about how they have integrated
the Principles into their digital development work!

Best,

Carolyn
