Sometimes vendor at the Waverly Market and involved with the Mill Valley Store, buoyant Baltimore icon, Whiskey Island spice maker, cook and all around nice guy, Mick Kipp had a heart attack on Sunday and died. I didn't see him often but when I saw him, he always brightened my day. I think I'll have to try my hand at making a memorial batch of cilantro walnut pesto.
