As part of a LINK Summer enrichment class, our students have been learning about social issues such as homelessness and hunger. The class has decided to host a bake sale to benefit Share Our Strength. All funds raised will be donated to help end childhood hunger, both locally and nationally. The bake sale is taking place on Thursday, July 25 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at two locations: Village Learning Place Library at 2521 St. Paul Street and PNC Bank on 25 th Street (across from Safeway near VLP). The students hope to raise at least $500, but they need your help! Please help us to spread the word and join us this Thursday at our bake sale! Attached is a flyer which can be posted or shared via email. P.S. Donations of baked goods are also welcome! Drop off donations in advance at the VLP Library on Tuesday 23 rd between 8am-6pm and Wednesday 24 th between Noon-8pm.
