If you put an ohm meter between the lead from the gauge to the sending unit you should get a reading between 0 and 90 OHM with the ignition on. 0 would be an empty tank 90 a full tank . Using a floor jack lower and raise the back of the car. If you get different readings the sending unit is good. If this fails check the ground to your instrument cluster. There should be 12 volts to the other side of the gauge. It worked fine last fall and just got the car out and its no working.
