The value of being "original" is being all original.
Putting sleeves in a block is ok if you want to be original. They have been
known to fail. Decking and align boring should always be considered if this
a total rebuild.

I am restoring a 70ss and have the original motor that needs two piston
sleeves,and decking. would it be best to keep the original engine block and
use the heads and intake with another block that i have?
