Swap the crank and you can have a 427 to go 454 you use the external
balanced crank. The 396,427,454 all the same block with minor changes.

Is the 402 just a 396 with 0,30 over bore or is it a unique block?

The reason I'm asking is because I wonder wether a 396 can be bored more
than a 402

or if they have the same marigins?
