Good luck--see these posts on my problems with pistons. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203954 http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204408I wound up using the KB Silvolite pistons, I'll try to find the part # later tonight. Hopefully the motor hasn't been bored yet because these pistons require tighter clearances than standard aluminum pistons and be certain that the ring gaps are checked and set to KB's specs.

One of my customeers here in KY is restoring his 70 SS and needs a set of new pistons for his 402 (bored 30 over). He has checked Summit and JEGS and several other suppliers and can't seem to find any stock type pistons for this motor. Anybody out there got a set they want to part with?Alex LaRueLaRue Insurance, Inc. 800-303-3518 or 270-358-3101 Fax 270-358-8978P O Box 119 Hodgenville, KY 42748 Visit us online at www.LaRueInsurance.net or www.LaRueClassics.comAsk me about AcuComp, a workers comp cost reduction service, and our complete line of Business Insurance, Bonds, and Personal Insurance.
