Simply cut off the flares, slide on the male ends and re-flare. You may already have the male ends on the lines they have just slide down the lines. You may also buy premade ends that can be spliced on to the old lines with a coupler. Any trans shop, brake or radiator shop can do it for you. -----Original Message----- From: chevelle-list-boun...@chevelles.net [mailto:chevelle-list-boun...@chevelles.net] On Behalf Of dennis.mcgil...@mcgilliscompany.com Sent: Saturday, January 30, 2010 7:34 PM To: chevelle-list@chevelles.net Subject: [Chevelle-list] '66 Radiator in '65 Chevelle Hi Guys, My '65 Chevelle got a new radiator from Kragen/O'reilly today and since they don't list a '65 three-row, I bought a '66 three-row. Mechanically, it works. But. . . My '65 trans cooler lines have flare ends, like brake lines. The '66 radiator has female pipe threads, should it be that way? Is there an easy solution?
