About 2 years ago, someone from Los Angeles contacted me (as the List
Manager for St. Paul E-Democracy). He was looking for information
about our system of District Councils. I got the email, while in the
Los Angeles area, visiting my sister. I hooked up with they guy and
learned Los Angeles was in the process of developing a system of
Neighborhood Councils.
I also learned, that my own city, St. Paul, is nationally know as a
model for "Community Councils."
My question to the Chicago Issues Forum is: Does Chicago have
anything like an "official" system of neighborhood councils -
sometimes know as "planning councils"?
see - http://www.communityplanning.org/
So, how are neighborhoods organized in Chicago?
