Specified onto the  calendar to remind us 
It’s time to say yes  or no to any given candidate or issue 

Voting is something  we should do every day 
By letting everyone  know how we stand 
On every bone of  contention 
Every particle of  positive and negative thought  
That makes up the  moral and ethical fiber of our nation
