Tibetan monks have a belief that when all the names of God have been uttered aloud by men, the world as we knwo it will end and a new era will begin. So the guy in the story is in Tibet and he hears this and well what do you know, he is there just as the monks are finishing up their multi-century project ... they are reaching the end of the list of the nine billion names of God. And when they do, he looks up, and the sky suddenly darkens ... fred
