For the text install (the only one that has ever works on my ibook 366) use: install-gui-benh text You can then almost normally, ie you may have some problem if you choose a custom partition format (just reboot and restart) and no individual package selection, just the basic categories ( use rpmdrake-remove after all) Tadam, magica.
