Hi, Delete zone (delete_residue_range()) is extremely slow when deleting large selections, often taking many minutes to delete a single large chain, even when backups are disabled. Is there an alternative function that is faster, or the possibility of adding such? It's not a problem under most circumstances, but becomes a real pain point when editing large pdbs.
