Thanks, Ann!

The combination of machines can be a real space-saver, rather than having 3
different machines.

Take care & have a good weekend.

Laurie,

We charge .10 for b/w and .50 for color. (.25 if there isn't much color)
If it is on photo paper we charge 1.00. Last summer we got a Xerox Phaser
8560MFP. I am very pleased with it. We got a plan that includes the toner
or cartridge. It was hard for us to come up with 175.00 when that was
needed. It is easier on this plan. We do have to pay extra if we go over a
certain number of copies but if we do it is b/w and it isn't very much.
This machine can do so much stuff I doubt we will ever learn it all. It
also is a scanner, fax machine.

Ann

Do not get a Xerox Digital Bookmark we hate it. It is slow and will not do
double sided copies.

While you're sending us your copier opinions, please let us know what you
charge for copies.

Thanks.

Subject: Photocopier question

We would like to update our Xerox Copy machine, which is a dinosaur. I
would be interested in knowing what models other libraries are using and
whether they and their patrons are happy with them. Do they offer color as
well as black & white? What features do they think are most important to
their users? Are they happy with their technical support when things go
wrong?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.
