Friends -

Eric Stuer, a favorite performer at CTLS libraries and nationally-known
percussionist, died in a car wreck. His wife also died. They leave
behind a college-age son and a 16-year-old daughter. Stu, as he is known
to his friends, was a powerful force in the music community and we are all
so sad. This news has been confirmed. I'll keep you posted.

Please pass this on to your children's librarians as they will need to
know this info, especially if they have booked Stu this summer.

Everyone take care.

Good evening,
I just received some news, although unconfirmed, I felt I needed to share
with you.

I have some very sad news about Eric Stuer. He and his wife Debbie died in a
1-car accident Friday, on their way home from a week of gigs in Buloxi.

Those from the "Village" Booth had an upbeat time with Eric "Stu" and his
wife, Debbie. I can not begin to express the shock and sadness I feel for
their
family.

I have not other details at this time. If you have details before I do
please share.
God bless and be safe.
Until next time...pleasant journeys.
Sincerely,
Consuelo Samarripa
