All talk and no action. It's been obvious since the American "militias"
took up mouthing off about NAFTA and the Zapatistas took up arms against
it.

The core leadership is neither left nor right, but anarchist. That's why,
as the DC police chief said, the protest was so "very, very well
organized." Had the leadership been leftist the whole thing would have
broken down into a faction fight. The left is there alright, but it wasn't
their show. They have guts, unlike the right, but they've never been all
that long on brains. They are particularly inept at organizing
democratically. Finally though, they are beginning to wise up a little.
Rather than rely on their leaders they're learning to sit down and hash
out the nuts and bolts tactics, strategy and logistics of this kind of
thing for themselves. This they are learning from anarchists. If we
anarchists accomplish nothing else this generation but teach the rest of
y'all how consensus decision making works, we'll have accomplished more
than all we did in all the previous century.
