"FROM THE WILDERNESS" IS IN THE NEWS: UPDATES AND HIGHLIGHTS

SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 - Publisher/Editor Mike Ruppert was sourced in the
"Toronto Star" for a breaking story on investigations by the National
Security Section of the RCMP in connection with Promis software. Ruppert has
also been interviewed recently by "The Washington Post's Michael Dobbs" on
the same subject. Although not central to an evolution of the nearly 20
year- old saga of this legendary software created by, then stolen from
former NSA programmer Bill Hamilton, Ruppert was able to provide RCMP
investigators with documents from former Green Beret William Tyree linking
Promis to, among other things, billionaire banker Jackson Stephens. The saga
of this modified and apparently treacherous software that allows secret
viewing of sensitive data bases has twisted back into the national security
interests of Canada. It has also emerged as a possible factor in the four
year persecution of former Assistant Housing Secretary Catherine Austin
Fitts by HUD and the Department of Justice.

SEPTEMBER 6, 2000 - OASIS TV (www.oasistv.com). Former DEA Agent Celerino
Castillo and Mike Ruppert will be the feature headline story all day on this
pioneering web site for web TV news broadcasts. Produced and narrated by
veteran news producer Kathy Close, Oasis TV interviews Cele and Mike from
the People's Convention in Los Angeles, taped August 13. See the future of
alternative news that shows what the major media doesn't dare to. Just go to
the home page and lick on the TV screen.

MID-SEPTEMBER, 2000 - The British glossy magazine "Year Zero"
(www.yearzero.org) will be the second foreign magazine to reprint our April
cover story "The Democratic Party's Presidential Drug Money Pipeline" under
the title "Just Say Yes. How The Democrats Get Their Fix." This story, which
has already been reprinted in the Mexican glossy "La Crisis," has also been
entered for a $20,000 prize at Washington D.C.'s Center for Public
Integrity.

SEPTEMBER 20, 2000 - Editor Olivier Pironet of "Le Monde Diplomatique" -
called the "New York Times of Europe" and one of our favorite publications -
will give a very positive review and summary of the FTW web site
www.copvcia.com in "Le Monde's" American section entitled "Manire de
Voir." It will however, be in French. - Merci beaucoup et Vive Le Monde
Diplomatique! The review can be viewed at http://www.monde-diplomatique.fr/.

FTW wishes to thank our loyal readers and supporters for making this growth
and recognition possible. We absolutely could not have done it without you.
Pretty soon we'll get a real office! There's lots more to come.

Mike Ruppert
