Well, Kerry has sensitively suggested that he supports the concept of a new intelligence czar, who controls the budget for the intelligence community. Wasn't it Harry Truman who said that the CIA was created for the benefit of the President (from a NYT commentary)?

I don't think anyone on this list or any other should be throwing stones
when it comes to slinging bullshit!  I, additionally, find it amusing that
people think that any of these fuckhead politicians are anything but
bullshit slingers and totally void of anything resembling an ethical or
moral human being.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone shut the fuck up about their own political
viewpoints and why theirs is so fucking pristine and righteous and spent
the time instead figuring out who they were going to vote for in as
intelligent a fashion they could muster?

Man, that would be nice.

Did Bender send you a follow-up e-mail regarding your cynicism/hostility levels and decorum/deportment? No reason to have a cow over who will be the next president, unless you're sitting on a huge federal IT contract.

If you really want to experience angst, consider that John "I didn't have an interest in college" Dougherty, business manager for the Philadelphia International Brotherhood of Electricians, has initiated his exploratory run for 2007 Mayor of Philadelphia. Just what the City needs a great white hope from South Philly.
