Wasn't The Who the group fronted by that little dwarf bastard whatsisname who kicked Abbie Hoffman off the stage at Woodstock? Anyhow, the only good song they ever had was "I Can See for Miles." I remember at the tender age of 15 smoking up with my buddies and somebody had got new earphones, and they were playing that album with Boris the Spider on it, and, listening, I got the sense that The Who were psychopathic Yahoos. Also that song about Whiskey Man -- very very dark. Also flying into NYC one time with this hippie chick fresh from the Haight and she was very gone and going on about how Tommy was this rock opera which was an historic milestone in cultural history. We didn't last long after that.
