Subject: [Culture] The Ladykillers

If you saw the Dixie Hummingbirds AND bought the CD AND still want more of that old-time gospel music, I recommend THE LADYKILLERS, by the notorious Coen brothers, now playing at the Bridge Cinema De Luxe, 40th and Walnut. Not to spoil the plot or anything, but it is a sort of rococo ripoff of The Italian Job with a team of five extraordinary bad guys, plotting to steal a boodle from a riverboat casino down on the Ole Miss.

While you're there, pick up the fat guide to the Philadelphia Film Festival, commencing this weekend at a theater near you.
