General: Killing a fly

Is there a halachic problem of killing a fly in a Beit Midrash or Beit Kenesest?

The Kollel replies*:

I asked several distinguished Talmidei Chachamim if they were aware of such a 
problem and got all negative responses.

Most Poskim hold that killing any bug anywhere - not just these holy places - 
is prohibited because of Tzar Ba'alei Chayim unless there is a good reason for 
doing so.

If you saw this written somewhere please let me know.  I would be interested to 
look into it further.
