Seems to me that since I didn't have any problems running
DBD::SQLite under AS Perl 5.6 with Win XP and you do have problems
with it under Perl 5.8 on windows, the problem may be a
compatibility issue.


I downloaded it from CPAN and compiled the *.c myself. I use the 5.8 Perl from Randy's site, and have no such problems (ie compatibility) with other modules I have to compile.

I really feel this is a problem with SQLite/DBD::SQLite rather than with my setup. It may be a problem only with MS VC's interpretation of the source code.

TheoryX had a good PPM version of the .28 version that installed fine 
using PPM install for 5.8.2. I have yet to test it.
