If we use time well, it may work for us, not against us. Hedging against 
uncertainties, postponing decisions when possible, recognizing that benefits, 
demand, and users will change, anticipating better information over time—these 
are the habits of mind that mark responsible digital stewardship and will help 
husband scarce resources while creating enough flexibility for bold moves and 
rescue of endangered assets when that becomes necessary.
