Greetings...
I've found this show listed in several places and have attempted
to contact those providing the listing, but have not received
any response. Been trying for about 6 years.

I'm interested in:

a) providing some added [anecdotal] info on this show.
b) begging for a copy of it.

This was my first Grateful Dead concert. It was on a Saturday,
I believe. It began at 2:00pm and lasted until around 6-7:00pm.

There were three bands on the bill.

The opening band was a local outfit named OX, a three piece
(guitar, bass, drums). Bob Metzger was the guitarist (has
played with Leonard Cohen), Jon Paris, bass (played with Johnny
Winter, and others - is a successful solo act currently)

Drummer was either Brad Seip or Ed Sison - don't remember.

NRPS were second on the bill with Jerry on pedal steel.

The venue was a fairly large hanger like facilty, part of the
Red Carpet Expo Center. Everyone sat on the floor, although
I was on my feet for most of the show (smile). Sound not bad,
but what did I know - this was only my third rock concert!

I hung around the entrance to the place after the gig, and
watched as Jerry, et. al, climbed into a black limo, and
as they were about drive away, the trunk lid flew open -
as I moved to close it the back door of the limo opened and
Jerry stuck his head out, grinned at me and said, "Thanks, man".
He then waved, got back in the car and they drove off. Cool.

'Twas a great night.

So....any chance anybody out there can get me a copy of this
show? I got lots of stuff to trade, but would be happy to
do b+p.

Hoping to hear from you,

Thanks!

-mm

It is a much cleverer thing to talk nonsense
than to listen to it.
