jeanne, i'm a little unclear on something....the information you just sent is this for your moot court students also? or just your discourse students?
        thomasina, moot court student.

Guys, much of this is as new to me as it is to you.  I've never tried to put thesis projects and civil discourse and moot court together over distance.  Moot court will be doing oral argument on social issues and will need much of the same material the thesis project students need.  Most of you need credit.  some of you don't. Most of you will be able to meet with me some of the time, and won't be able to some of the time.

So, the short answer to your question, Thomasina, is that I don't have the slightest idea.  All of you will be writing to me, constantly, little pieces at a time. I want all of you to be able to share these exchanges. Jolie isn't doing moot court, but still needs some of the same instruction. Thank goodness, this is set up so that you choose your own measures of learning, and should always have more information than you can possibly handle.

For now, I think using the listserv should be for all of you. Moot court will focus especially on argument, but much of that overlaps with theory and thesis writing.

Now I have to go figure out how to archive all this stuff for you.  more later.  love and peace, jeanne
