Jolene, this is why the listserv is so neat.  I can send it to all of us in dear habermas at once. Yes, that clarification is good. Sexual preference should not be our concern; rather we should focus on the maturity and health of our relationships with children.

I hope that some of the others in dearhabermas will add their comments.

I needed to clarify something regarding sex abuse and the church. I didn't mean that Gay celibate priests should be victimized by the church or that Gay men should be kept from becoming priests if that is their calling.  Sometimes I don't explain things very well.  But this was an important issue that I felt needed to be addressed. I appreciate that you replied to my email.
