Bug#549453: Cannot downgrade

I tried an upgrade to 0.9.1 and the aforementioned error arised, making redmine
unusable.

The link you mention provides no solution that I can understand (sorry, I have
absolutely no idea of ruby, and even less rails), and it is marked upstream as
"wontfix".

After a few blind tries for a workaround I downgraded to 0.9.0~svn2907-1, but
still the same problem arises.

Is there any chance to fix it? At this point in time, I don't care anymore of
which version works, as long as it works, as redmine is currently authenticating
my access to a set of repositories.
